Since baseball is a game of inches, baseball players need elite training to get the competitive advantage for those inches. At Athletic Republic we have consistently proven that our speed, agility and power training makes athletes faster, stronger and more agile than our competition can make them. Getting 0.2 seconds off your 40 yard dash time can potentially put you at first base 4-5 feet ahead of where you get to now. Think of all the ground balls last season that you almost legged out. There is no doubt that speed and agility training are absolutely essential to becoming a better and more successful baseball player.
THROWING
Arm strength is a concern of every baseball player. We measure arm strength by determining throwing velocity or throwing distance. Our patented throwing cord has taken countless pitchers, infielders and outfielders to the next level by improving their arm strength. As a patented piece of equipment, this training is only available at Athletic Republic. In a published, peer-reviewed study of college-level baseball players who trained with the throwing cord for 12 sessions over 6 weeks, the average improvement on fastball velocity with the same accuracy was 4 mph! One pitcher went from topping out at 81 mph to hitting 90 mph on the gun. This improvement has been documented and reproduced consistently with athletes of high school level and above at all of our centers.
HITTING
When Jim Thome was looking to keep his competitive edge at the plate he sought Athletic Republic and our patented resistance cord technology. After one trial session with the cords he realized how explosive his bat speed could become through the hitting zone. After several years, Mr. Thome is still hitting home runs and still using Athletic Republic to keep his hands fast and his hip drive strong through consistent resistance cord training. CONDITIONING CORDS

NIKE SENSORY TRAINING EVALUATION
Higher performing athletes see better - it is a proven fact. After extensive research Nike has developed a program that evaluates visual clarity, speed of perception, eye-hand coordination, dynamic visual acuity, reaction time and depth perception. Then generates a peer comparison producing a customized improvement plan based on a national comparison of like athletes across the country. Imagine being able to see the threads on the ball.
NIKE SENSORY TRAINING
Using (4) training strategies athletes will improve on areas identified in the Sensory Evaluation.
NIKE STROBE TRAINING
This program will improve timing, visualization, quickness, peripheral vision and balance.
WEIGHT LIFTING
This program focuses on teaching all of the necessary lifts athletes perform in a competitive weight room environment including the Olympic lifts.
DIGITAL VIDEO ANALYSIS
Utilizing DartFISH software we provide a complete running analysis with measurement of key running angles such as knee drive, pelvic angle and more. Athletes are provided with a breakdown of the strengths and weaknesses of their stride. Recommendations are provided.
REGISTRATION/PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT
The assessment process begins with a test to establish a performance baseline by measuring the following key areas of athleticism:

The test results are interpreted in relation to an athlete's physical development, gender, sport and position training goals and applied to develop an individualized performance sports training program. At the conclusion of a training program, Athletic Republic tests again to measure performance improvements and track progression against goals. Our entire athlete assessment process synchronizes video with performance results, setting a new testing standard that we have taken beyond our training centers to combines like the Army All-American Game National Combine. Thanks to our extensive database of test and performance information, athletes can compare their results against peers by geography, gender, age or sport to see where they rank. Each athlete receives an Athletic Republic Training Kit with includes a t-shirt, shorts, drawstring bag and water bottle.
