SOCCER ATHLETES NEED EVERYTHING.

Average Performance Improvements through Athletic Republic Soccer Training:

Soccer = The beautiful game, a sport that combines all of the ingredients of athleticism as near equally as any sport. What do we mean? Soccer athletes need everything. Speed, agility, power, endurance, strength, durability. . . you name it and a successful soccer athlete must own it. At Athletic Republic, our training creates greater improvements in all of these aspects than our competitors can provide. 

Kicking distance and velocity are both important to a soccer athlete. Our patented kicking cord improves both through resistance cord training. Using a functional training approach we can improve the speed and power of the foot through the ball in the kicking motion. This patented cord is only available in our training center and delivered by our certified performance trainer.

REDUCING THE RISK OF INJURY.  “Avoidance of Soccer Injuries with Pre-Season Conditioning,” published in American Journal of Sports Medicine (Vol 28, No 5).  This study involved 300 female athletes age 14 – 18 in a one-year study.  40 athletes completed Athletic Republic Performance Sports Training Protocols and the remainder did conventional ground based soccer training.

CONDITIONING CORDS

NIKE SENSORY TRAINING EVALUATION

Higher performing athletes see better - it is a proven fact. After extensive research Nike has developed a program thatl evaluates visual clarity, speed of perception, eye-hand coordination, dynamic visual acuity, reaction time, depth perception and generates a peer comparison producing a customized improvement plan based on a national comparison of like athletes across the country. Imagine being able to see the seams on the ball.

NIKE SENSORY TRAINING

Using (4) training strategies athletes will improve on areas identified in the Sensory Evaluation. All sports. All ages.

NIKE STROBE TRAINING

This program will improve timing, visualization, quickness, peripheral vision and balance. All sports. All ages.

DIGITAL VIDEO ANALYSIS

Utilizing DartFISH software we provide a complete running analysis with measurement of key running angles such as knee drive, pelvic angle and more. Athletes are provided with a breakdown of the strengths and weaknesses of their stride. Recommendations are provided.

REGISTRATION/PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT

The assessment process begins with a test to establish a performance baseline by measuring the following key areas of athleticism:

  • Movement Skills 
  • Power and Strength 
  • Efficiency

The test results are interpreted in relation to an athlete's physical development, gender, sport and position training goals and applied to develop an individualized performance sports training program.  At the conclusion of a training program, Athletic Republic tests again to measure performance improvements and track progression against goals.  Our entire athlete assessment process synchronizes video with performance results, setting a new testing standard that we have taken beyond our training centers to combines like the Army All-American Game National Combine. Thanks to our extensive database of test and performance information, athletes can compare their results against peers by geography, gender, age or sport to see where they rank. Each athlete receives an Athletic Republic Training Kit with includes a t-shirt, shorts, drawstring bag and water bottle.
